PCMC24

How PCMC24 works

How requirements are matched, how listings are ordered, and how paid features are kept separate.

For societies

  • Describe the work once. Choose whether PCMC24 invites up to three suitable providers or only the providers you name.
  • A PCMC24 team member reviews new requirements (and may call to confirm contact details) before inviting anyone.
  • Invited providers see the job without your contact details and decide whether to accept. Only those who accept receive your details.
  • Providers send quotations in a structured form. You compare scope, taxes, exclusions, warranty and terms side by side, privately.
  • You decide. Record the outcome when you are done; it is never shown publicly.

How matching works

We invite providers who are live on PCMC24, offer the service, say they serve your area and are accepting new requirements. At most three providers can ever receive your contact details for one requirement. Payment by a provider never affects matching.

How listings are ordered

Normal results on a service or area page are filtered by service and area served, then ordered by these factors, in order of importance:

  • 1. Number of current checks on the profile (each check counted once, expired checks excluded).
  • 2. Most recently updated profile.
  • Sponsored listings appear separately above normal results under the heading "Sponsored listings", are always labelled "Sponsored", are limited to two per page, and do not change the order of normal results.

For businesses

  • Create a free profile; a moderator reviews it before it goes live.
  • Receive requirements only for your services and areas. You see the scope first and decide.
  • We do not charge per lead. Paid plans are presentation features only.
