According to the complaint, the suspect, aged around 26, was previously an ambulance driver at the company. He had been fired from his job and held a grudge over it, the complaint states.
On the day of the incident, he allegedly entered the company premises without permission. He then pointed a pistol at a 26-year-old HR employee of the company and attempted to open fire.
The HR employee filed a complaint regarding the incident at the Talegaon MIDC police station, following which a case was registered under relevant sections.
Police are conducting further investigations into the matter. These remain allegations until proven in court.
