Ganeshotsav is celebrated every year at the Jnana Prabodhini Centre in Nigdi. During this year's festival, MLA Shankar Jagtap sought blessings and performed the aarti of Lord Ganesha.
Jagtap expressed his satisfaction that the educational institute, Jnana Prabodhini, introduces students to Indian culture, knowledge traditions, and scriptural rituals alongside their regular academics. Centre officials and devotees were present on the occasion.
During the festival, Jagtap personally participated in a cultural dance programme presented by Ganesh devotees and enjoyed the spontaneous performance.
Stating that Ganeshotsav is not merely a religious festival but one that spreads the message of values, education, culture, and social unity, he congratulated the Jnana Prabodhini family for preserving this tradition.
