A loud noise was heard in a house in Bhimashankar Colony, Pimple Gurav, on Monday afternoon between 12:15 PM and 12:30 PM, after a gas regulator broke. Suvarna Dalvi sustained minor injuries in the incident. According to Punekar News, the gas cylinder's regulator was not properly fitted when an attempt was made to light the gas stove, causing it to break.
The incident also caused damage to the kitchen tiles. Upon receiving information about the incident, Jitendra Koli of Sangvi Police Station and his team arrived at the scene. According to the Pimpri-Chinchwad Police, a major accident was averted as the gas cylinder fortunately did not explode.
Suvarna Dalvi's husband, Bajirao Dalvi, stated that the incident was unexpected. The police have conducted a panchnama (spot inspection report) and initiated further investigation.
