More than 801 senior citizens and women in Ward No. 18 of Pimpri-Chinchwad received ST Smart Cards as part of the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan', organized to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday. This initiative paves the way for beneficiaries to receive concessions on ST bus travel.
The program was conducted under the guidance of MLA Shankarbhau Jagtap. The objective of this campaign was to provide financial concessions to senior citizens and women when utilizing public transport. A registration drive for these smart cards had been conducted previously, with many citizens participating.
Several dignitaries, including Suresh Shivaji Bhoir, Aparnatai Doke, Manishtai Chinchawade, and Ravindra Deshpande, attended the event. Organizers stated that the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' is part of a series of initiatives aimed at assisting various sections of society.
