According to the complaint, the suspect, a resident of Sangli, was driving a Thar recklessly on the Moshi to Chakan and Chakan Chowk to Shikrapur routes. During this time, he rammed into several vehicles, causing damage, and a 20-year-old youth sustained minor facial injuries.
It is alleged that he attempted to run over the complainant and his colleagues who tried to stop the vehicle. After the employees moved out of the way, he rammed into their government vehicle, turned his vehicle around, and sped towards the employees again, the complaint states.
In this incident, the complainant suffered an injury to his right hand, and the government vehicle was damaged.
Chakan South police have registered a case under relevant sections and arrested the suspect. Further investigation is underway. These remain allegations until proven in court.
