According to the complaint, the 27-year-old complainant and his friend Vishal Chougule were returning home from work on a motorcycle. A Hyva truck coming from behind rammed into their two-wheeler in front of the Shell petrol pump in Wadmukhwadi.
Both sustained serious injuries in the crash. Vishal Chougule suffered injuries to his head, right hand, and leg. He died while undergoing treatment at a hospital. The motorcycle was also damaged.
The complaint alleges that the Hyva driver was driving the vehicle at a high speed and in a negligent manner. A case has been registered under relevant sections against the 26-year-old driver, a resident of the Mohannagar area in Bhosari.
The police are further investigating the accident.
