The Mandal stated that the tableau was organized to allow citizens to experience religious traditions and mythological narratives amidst the devotional atmosphere of Ganeshotsav.
The event was scheduled to take place from 6 pm to midnight on Friday at the Late Moru Mahadu Barne playground near Anandvan Society in Thergaon. The story of the wedding of Kalbhairavnath and Mata Jogeshwari was to be presented as a live tableau.
Organizers had announced that Marathi entertainment industry actresses Snehalata Maghade, Priyanka Jadhav, Pournima Dey, and Urmila Kanetkar would attend the ceremony.
Mandal founder Abhishek Barne had appealed to the citizens of the ward to attend with their families and enjoy the tableau.
