Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune: Forty students and teachers from PM Shri Secondary School, Thergaon, undertook an educational field visit to JSPM College of Engineering in Tathawade. The primary objective of this visit was to introduce students to modern technology, engineering, and innovation. The field visit was organized under the central government's DICE (Developing Innovation Culture and Entrepreneurship) program.

During the visit, students explored various state-of-the-art laboratories at the college. These included the Incubation Center, Robotics Lab, Mac Lab, Ideation Lab, and the VMC/CNC Machine Center. At these centers, students had the opportunity to observe technology in action up close.

Prof. Dr. Sachin Argade of JSPM College of Engineering guided the students on 'Idea Creation.' He provided information on how to generate new ideas and bring them to fruition. College Director Dr. Avinash Badade specifically encouraged students to pursue innovation, research, entrepreneurship, and technology.

This field visit helped foster a scientific outlook, creativity, an innovative spirit, and entrepreneurial thinking among the students. The direct experience with modern technology inspired students in their future career choices.
