The protest will be held to demand the resignation of MPSC Chairman Vivek Bhimanwar, concrete measures to prevent paper leaks, and to address other pending demands. The agitation will begin at 10 am on October 2.
Regarding permission for the protest, student representatives met the Pune Police Commissioner in the presence of MLA Rohit Pawar. Following this, the police showed readiness to grant permission for the protest on October 2. Representatives stated that the students remain firm on their demands.
A meeting between student representatives and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is scheduled to take place in the next two days.
Rohit Pawar has extended his support to the agitation, while Congress leader Dr. Vishwajeet Kadam has also backed the students' demands. Kadam stated that if necessary, Rahul Gandhi could visit Pune to extend his support.
