The 'Rozgar Mahakumbh – 2026' was organized at New Millennium English Medium School in Navi Sangvi. A total of 8,157 youths registered for jobs at the event, and 3,200 of them are expected to secure employment. BJP State President Ravindra Chavan distributed appointment letters to some selected candidates during the program. Chavan stated that the BJP's objective is to provide employment to youth, promote skill development and innovation, and build a strong, developed nation.
The 'Rozgar Mahakumbh' was held in the Chinchwad Assembly constituency under the guidance of MLA Shankar Jagtap. The event was organized as part of community service initiatives to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday. Efforts are being made to bring job opportunities directly to the youth through the 'Door Step Employment' concept. The program also highlighted Prime Minister Modi's efforts since 2014 to bring transparency and eliminate corruption.
Special emphasis was placed on finding opportunities for women, specially-abled individuals, and economically weaker youths. Special arrangements were made for specially-abled candidates; one specially-abled candidate was interviewed and selected at the entrance of the event itself. Participants received 'Certificates of Participation'. More than 500 job fairs and placement drives have been organized across the state, with similar events held in 30 educational institutions in Pune district. Pratibha Mahila Pratishthan collaborated in organizing this program.
MLA Shankar Jagtap, Ravi Landge, Mahesh Landge, Uma Khapre, Ashwini Jagtap, Shatrughna Kate, Prashant Shitole, Abhishek Barne, Madhukar Bachhe, Rupali Devkar, Vidya Gote, Manojkumar Markad, Bharat Madane, and Akshay More, among other dignitaries, were present at the event.
