A 43-year-old man was reportedly assaulted near Sai Chowk in Pimpri while filming the sale of Amul milk at a discounted rate. The victim's nose was fractured in the assault, according to News PCMC.
The incident took place on September 26, 2026, around 5:30 PM. The victim was filming the sale of Amul brand milk, which was being sold for ₹30 instead of its usual price of ₹60. His intention was to send this footage to the company. At that time, some individuals stopped him from filming and demanded that he delete the video. Subsequently, the man was assaulted with kicks and punches.
Mohan Prakash Sabnani has filed a complaint regarding the incident at Pimpri Police Station. Police have registered a case against Jitu Mayaramani, Hitesh Mayaramani, Rohan, Parvez, Dalalwad, Rajput, and four other unidentified individuals. Pimpri Police are conducting further investigations.
