The road from Maruti Mandir to Nigdi Signal in Nigdi has been severely damaged due to ongoing metro construction, according to the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS). The metro work has caused the road to narrow and large potholes to form, creating significant difficulties for motorists and residents.
Traffic congestion is occurring on this road throughout the day, and the risk of accidents has increased, especially for two-wheeler riders and pedestrians. The MNS stated that the likelihood of accidents has further intensified as the markings on speed breakers have faded.
Drawing attention to this serious situation, the MNS has demanded immediate repairs to the road. The MNS has called for potholes to be filled, speed breakers to be repainted, and measures to be taken to ensure smooth traffic flow. Sachin Chikhale has submitted a memorandum to the administration regarding this matter.
