Students brought their ideas about India's progress to life in their drawings using various colours, and confidently presented their thoughts in the elocution competition, Corporator Anita Kate said.
School founder Sandeep Kate said the initiative was organised to provide an outlet for students' artistic talents, rather than limiting the birthday celebrations merely to greetings.
BJP Rahatani-Pimple Saudagar Mandal President Somnath Tapkir, school principal Jyotika Malkani, various office-bearers, and local citizens attended the event. Teachers and staff organised the competition.
