During the workshop, Principal Jyotika Malkani and the teachers assisted the students in the idol-making process. The students showcased their creativity by experimenting with various shapes, designs, and decorations.
The students experienced the joy of crafting Ganpati idols with their own hands. They were also explained why it is essential to celebrate Ganeshotsav using eco-friendly materials.
School president Sandeep Kate said that although Ganeshotsav is a festival deeply rooted in culture and tradition, it is a collective responsibility to be mindful of the environment while celebrating it. He added that instilling awareness about environmental conservation at a young age ensures it stays with them for a lifetime.
The school stated that such initiatives impart the message of environmental protection to students through practical action, alongside fostering their creativity.
