According to the police, 6 people had gathered near Rail Vihar Society to resolve an old dispute. During the discussion, an argument broke out between them again.
Following this, they created a ruckus by shouting loudly on the public road, grabbed each other by the collars, and exchanged punches, the police said.
The incident breached the peace in the area. Upon receiving the information, Chinchwad police took action against those involved and issued them notices.
A case has been registered based on a complaint lodged by a police constable, and further investigation is underway under the guidance of an assistant police inspector.
