Chinchwad police received a tip-off that illegal 'Teen Patti' gambling for money was taking place in an open space behind a tea stall in Bijlinagar. Acting on this information, the police raided the location at around 10 pm on September 23.
During the operation, three individuals aged 22, 37, and 56 were detained. Police stated that they were found engaging in illegal gambling for personal financial gain.
Valuables including Rs 1,03,100 in cash, playing cards, other gambling materials, and a motorcycle were seized from the spot.
Based on a complaint filed by a police constable, a case has been registered at the Chinchwad police station. Further investigation is being conducted under the guidance of a police sub-inspector.
