Devendra Tayade has been appointed as the City President of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar). This appointment was made with the approval of party national president Sharad Pawar. Dr. Amol Kolhe, Member of Parliament for the Shirur Lok Sabha constituency, had suggested Tayade's name.
State President MLA Shashikant Shinde made the appointment. The appointment letter was handed over to Devendra Tayade by party state general secretary Ravindra Pawar at the party headquarters in Mumbai. Sunil Mane, the party's state general secretary and Pimpri-Chinchwad observer, provided this information.
Mane stated that Devendra Tayade's organizational experience would be beneficial for the party. He expressed confidence that under Tayade's leadership, the city organization would become stronger, and party workers would receive proper guidance in resolving public issues. It was also noted that this decision was made after discussions with national working president Supriya Sule, state general secretary Rohit Pawar, and former minister Harshvardhan Patil.
