S.B. Patil College of Architecture and Design (SBPCOAD), part of the Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust, recently organised a felicitation ceremony for its successful students, Shabnam News reported. The event honoured a total of 43 meritorious students from the academic year 2025-26 and alumni.
Senior Architect and International Landscape Designer Dr. Mahesh Nampurkar guided students on career opportunities in architecture. Ar. Shitesh Agrawal, President of the Indian Institute of Architects Pune Center, also attended the program. Dr. Smita Suryawanshi, Principal of SBPCOAD, delivered the welcome address.
During the ceremony, the 'Best Student Inspiration Trophy' for 2025 was awarded to alumna Ar. Harshshree Nakhrani. Kajal Thite was felicitated for her selection as an Assistant Town Planner in the MPSC competitive examination. Ankit Patil received the 'Foed Young Woman Achiever of the Year for Hospitality' award. Tisha Kela and Adarsh Pradhan won the 'Stride Make Space Design Competition'.
Omkumar Bagle, Janhavi Bhosale, Disha Pradhan, Siddhi Sawant, Bhargavi Pohane, Aditya Kale, Krutika Chani, Sanika Kale, and Pratibha Kakade received awards in various categories such as environment, sustainability, debate, poster design, birdhouse design, and photography. Radhika Mantri, Sanika Sutar, Sandli Mendhalkar, Mrudul Maral, Mrunmayee Chaudhary, and Aishwarya Jadhav were honoured for campus photography. Swara Musale received an award for her book 'Scars of India – The Untold Battles', while Gargi Sathe was recognised for her colouring book 'Colors of Dharma'.
The event also honoured the members of the 2026-27 Student Council. These included Amod Bhegade as President, Mrunmayee Chaudhary as Vice President, Kusha Goyal as Secretary, Sayali Keskar as Cultural Head, and Mrudul Maral as Sports Head. Dnyaneshwar Landge, Chairman of Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust, Padmataai Bhosale, Vice Chairperson, Vitthal Kalbhor, Secretary, Shantaram Garde, Treasurer, and Harshvardhan Patil, Trustee, were present. Entrepreneurs Narendra Landge and Ajinkya Kalbhor also attended. Executive Director Dr. Girish Desai delivered the vote of thanks. Ajay Hartale, Rujuta Pathak, Laxman Torgale, and Kisan Kale participated in organising the event. Prof. Shiva Shishoviya and Prof. Daksha Deshmukh compered the program.
