The Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Rojgar Mahakumbh (mega job fair) has been organised at the Auto Cluster in Chinchwad on Tuesday (September 29). Representatives of reputed companies from the local industrial sector will participate in this fair, which will be held from 9 am to 3 pm, and eligible candidates will be given on-the-spot job opportunities, informed MLA Uma Khapre during a press conference.
Candidates who have passed Class 5, Class 10, Class 12, ITI, diploma, graduates, and engineering degree holders will get opportunities based on their qualifications and skills. Former deputy mayor Tushar Hinge said that companies from the banking, IT, BPO, KPO, real estate, manufacturing, and automobile sectors, including Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, Tata Motors, Bajaj, and Hyundai, will participate. A "Job Card" initiative will be implemented for candidates who do not secure immediate employment. Organisers have appealed to interested candidates to be present on time with the necessary documents and an updated resume.
At the same venue, a state-level mega gathering of the Bharatiya Janata Mathadi Transport and Suraksharakshak General Kamgar Union will be held at 2 pm. It will be inaugurated by BJP state president Ravindra Chavan, informed the union's founder president Anup More. Over 6,000 Mathadi office-bearers from 14 districts will participate in this gathering, and a resolution will be made to connect 30,000 office-bearers across the state by the year 2030.
Guidance and discussions on topics related to workers' employment, safety, social security, and welfare will take place during this gathering. BJP city president Shatrughna Kate and other office-bearers were present at the press conference.
