An incident involving the theft of e-bike batteries and a motor from a service centre in Mohannagar, Chinchwad, has come to light. According to the police complaint, the total value of the stolen goods is approximately ₹1 lakh 86 thousand.
As per available details, a minor boy working as a trainee at Jai Matadi Service Centre in Mohannagar is suspected of the theft.
According to the complaint submitted to the police, the e-bike batteries and e-bike motor went missing from the service centre during the period between December 2025 and 7 pm on 16 September 2026.
The complaint alleges that the minor in question stole these items and sold them to a scrap dealer in the Chinchwad area.
The total value of the goods stolen in this incident is stated to be around ₹1.86 lakh.
Swati Manoj Mohite has reportedly lodged a complaint regarding this matter, and an offence has been registered at Pimpri police station.
Police are conducting further investigations into how the theft was committed, to whom the goods were sold, and how the stolen property was further disposed of.
