Pimpri-Chinchwad: Meritorious students who have passed Class 10 or 12 can benefit from a financial assistance scheme run by the Social Development Department of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation. According to PCMC’s official information, Maharashtra State Board students securing 80% to 90% in Class 10 or 12 can receive ₹10,000, while CBSE and ICSE students in the same marks range can receive ₹5,000. Students securing more than 90% can receive ₹15,000 under the Maharashtra State Board category and ₹7,500 under CBSE/ICSE.
The scheme is listed among PCMC’s limited-period welfare schemes, making it important for students to verify the current application window, required documents and eligibility conditions before submitting an application.
Students or parents who need help understanding the process can approach the concerned PCMC department or local ward office. Where local public representatives or help centres are assisting citizens with forms and documents, their guidance can also be taken.
