A special beneficiary camp will be held in Wakad on Tuesday (September 29) to distribute certificates to citizens who have registered for various government schemes and municipal welfare services. The event will take place at 8.30 am at Corporator Rahul Kalate's public relations office under the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan'.
Certificates will be distributed to beneficiaries who registered during the 'Janakalyan camps' organised by Kalate's public relations office over the last three months. Organisers stated that more than 64 camps have been held so far, benefiting over 8,500 citizens through various schemes. Many, including senior citizens, have also registered for free NCMC cards.
BJP state president Ravindra Chavan will be the chief guest for the event and will distribute the certificates. A dashboard providing information about the work done through these camps will also be launched on the occasion.
The objective of this initiative is to ensure government schemes and services reach citizens directly, and the scope of these camps will be expanded in the future, Kalate said.
