Some citizens in Nigdi Pradhikaran have raised questions related to traffic and parking regarding the Harit Setu project.

Shiv Sena Pimpri-Chinchwad city chief Rajesh Phalke has demanded that the Municipal Commissioner hold a meeting with the citizens.

According to him, two previously scheduled meetings were cancelled.

A demand has been made to hold direct discussions on road width, footpaths, parking, traffic congestion, and local issues.

A warning has been issued that an agitation will be launched if no dialogue takes place by 5 November 2026.

According to PCMC's official framework, the Harit Setu project aims to increase walking, cycling, and sustainable transport.

The municipal corporation's Climate Action Plan also notes that effective implementation of parking and hawker policies is crucial for the project's success.

Some residents in Nigdi have previously expressed concerns regarding traffic congestion, parking, and footpaths.
