According to News PCMC, a man was murdered in Madhuban Colony, Thergaon, due to a financial dispute. The incident took place on October 5, 2026, at 7:45 AM. The deceased has been identified as Kashinath Sambhaji Wavale (40). Yallaling alias Yallappa Shivrashnappa Alandkar (42) attacked Kashinath Wavale with a knife. Kashinath Wavale succumbed to his injuries after sustaining 4 to 5 stab wounds in the attack.
According to information provided by the police, the accused and the deceased had a family relationship. They had ongoing financial dealings and disputes stemming from them. It was due to this dispute that Yallaling Alandkar murdered Kashinath Wavale.
Upon receiving information about the incident, Kalewadi Police immediately rushed to the scene. According to Police Inspector Dhumale, the police have arrested Yallaling alias Yallappa Shivrashnappa Alandkar. A case has been registered at Kalewadi Police Station, and the police are conducting further investigations. The police provided this information on October 6, 2026.
