A state-level Mathadi office-bearers' rally was organized by the Bharatiya Janata Mathadi Transport and Suraksha Rakshak General Kamgar Union (Registered) at the Auto Cluster in Chinchwad. BJP State President Ravindra Chavan addressed the rally, assuring workers of the party's full support, as reported by News PCMC.
Ravindra Chavan emphasized the labour welfare initiatives of the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He provided information on the government's measures to lift citizens out of poverty and reform labour laws. Chavan stated that the BJP is committed to protecting the interests of workers.
Union founder and labour leader Anup More provided an update on the union's growth. Established in 2014, the union currently has 15,000 members. Anup More clarified that the objective is to reach 50,000 members by 2029. Several dignitaries attended the rally, including Ravi Landge, Shatrughna Kate, Shankar Jagtap, Mahesh Landge, Uma Khapre, Tushar Hinge, Vijay Hargude, Jaideep Khapre, Santosh Dabade, Akshay Varghade, Rakesh Sanas, and Wasim Shaikh.
Santosh Kamble concluded the event with a vote of thanks, followed by the singing of Vande Mataram.
