Pimpri-Chinchwad is set to attempt a new world record through a grand cultural initiative. A massive tribute ceremony has been organized at the Dharmaveer Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj International Exhibition Center in Moshi on Sunday, October 4, at 2:00 PM.

According to the organizers, more than 5,000 Dhol-Tasha players have registered for the event, with over 151 troupes expected to participate. The attempt to set a new world record will be made by having this large number of players perform simultaneously.

The ceremony is being held to pay tribute to Dharmaveer Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and will take place against the backdrop of the 'Statue of Hindu Bhushan' and the 128-meter-tall 'Dharmadhwaj' currently under construction.

Along with the grand Dhol-Tasha performance, the event will feature a collective conch shell performance by 111 participants, 'Shiv-Shambho Garjana', Shahiri performances, and demonstrations of traditional martial arts.

Additionally, a collective pledge will be taken under the 'Nashamukt Bharat' (Drug-Free India) campaign. Organizers stated that the initiative aims to connect the youth with history, culture, and social messages.

Entry to the event is free for citizens, and the public has been urged to attend in large numbers.

Meanwhile, while the attempt to set a world record is based on the collective participation of over 5,000 Dhol-Tasha players, official confirmation will only be provided after the relevant verification process is completed.
