Questions Raised Over Safety of Appu Ghar Project in Nigdi; NCP Corporator Sandeep Waghere Aggressive
Serious questions have been raised regarding the safety of the Appu Ghar project at late Indira Gandhi Park in Nigdi. According to information provided by the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), details regarding necessary permits, safety inspections, and other crucial aspects for the project are unavailable. This information came to light in response to questions raised by Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Corporator Sandeep Waghere. PCMC does not have information on necessary permits and safety certificates for the Appu Ghar project. PCMC is unaware of the project's work progress, entry fee policy, and safety measures. Pushpak Amusement owes PCMC Rs 6,83,665. The contractor was granted a 15-year extension, while the request was only for 3 years. No study has been conducted on the environmental and traffic impacts of the project.
